This will be Jordi Latorre’s second stage piece, bringing together performance, flamenco dance, and live audiovisuals. It is currently in a research phase and will feature on stage Carmen Muñoz and Aina Serena. So far, the piece has received support from Los Tientos (an experimental program rooted in flamenco) at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea La Madraza of the University of Granada, a Barcelona Crea 2025 Grant from the Ajuntament de Barcelona, Graner (Barcelona) and El Canal (Salt, Girona). The project is in the process of securing additional support: co-production and world premiere, scheduled for the second half of 2026.
"Después del diluvio electrónico" (After the Electronic Flood) is a flamenco and audiovisual performance that invites us to close our eyes. In a multiscreen environment ruled by hypervisibility, bodies remain somnambulant, their gaze exhausted. Yet from their final rupture arises a desire to act — to take a step back into the world of shadows and cross the threshold to alter perception. In this new space of mystery and reverie, bodies transform the surfaces of images, reshaping their forms, seeking within their own physicality the pores that reveal a spectral essence.
