Jordi Latorre was the director and editor of the documentary short film derived from his final degree project, which received a grant for production and distribution by ESCAC Films. The film follows a group of young dancers based in Barcelona who experiment with Flamenco as a way to rediscover themselves and connect with their roots. This work marks Jordi Latorre’s first artistic approach to Flamenco and to the relationship between dance and video. In this project, he created his first images of dancing bodies processed through analogue video synthesizers.
