RUIDO JONDO has been conceived as a meeting point for experimentation between Flamenco and Electronic music. It takes shape as a series of events aimed at expanding the format of stage presentation—overflowing its conventional space and bringing it closer to the language of the club. RUIDO JONDO was created by Derek van den Bulcke and Jordi Latorre, who curate the program and serve as the project’s artistic directors. The initiative has received support from the Generalitat de Catalunya to fund its first two editions held in Barcelona. RUIDO JONDO’s programming blends performance, live music, and DJ sets. The second edition took place in November 2025 with an expanded one-day festival format at Fabra i Coats, featuring five performances, including a special live set by Lolo & Sosaku with El Pirata, Renata Gelosi, and Carmen Muñoz. In 2026, new editions will be held in Madrid, Andalusia, and Barcelona.
